Vacation Days (Day 2)

I awoke to this directly above my head. This is Jerry Jeff Garcia Van Zandt Kalthoff…or Jerrah.

Then I looked to my left, and saw the Puggle Joy.

Day 2 is starting out just fine, if not a bit ridiculously adorable.

Tonight it’s Connie’s Famous (and award winning) Fried Chicken, along with going through as many vinyl records as I possibly can (there are so many! I can’t wait!)

…Some time, and a couple glasses of whiskey later…

Nobody beats Connie’s Famous Fried Chicken.

Well, that was damn delicious.

We then went through a small stack of records, listening to what felt right at the time. That led to singing Jerry Jeff Walker, Townes Van Zandt, Jimmy Buffett and Jesse Winchester songs until we couldn’t take it anymore…(the latter two performed by your’s truly after everyone went to bed…in fact…it’s happening right now.)
